The background…
This sautoir necklace showcases a stunning pendant that I created from a broken mid-century brooch. It was missing a number of rhinestones, and I debated with myself whether to replace them or not. After consultation with my customers, I decided to replace them, and I’m glad I did as I feel that it is much more vibrant now. I created the chain with semi-precious Poppy Jasper beads, repurposed Hematite beads and repurposed rope chain. A spring ring clasp and a textured focal ring complete the design.
Poppy Jasper is known as an energizing stone, believed to inspire a joyful outlook and alleviate stress. Hematite is also regarded as an energizing stone, offering a cooling and calming effect that aids in enhancing concentration and focus.
