The background...
This elegant necklace features a repurposed vintage brooch fragment with a horse and horseshoe motif, matched with hand-knotted green baroque freshwater pearls. In jewellery, a horse symbolises freedom, strength and luck. The horseshoe is also a traditional symbol of luck. Did you know, that when the horseshoe points up, the luck goes to the wearer, when it points down, the luck flows to the universe. The colour green is considered to be lucky by the Chinese, so this necklace tells a story of good fortune and prosperity.
