This elegant necklace is designed to close at the front. It features an antique mother-of-pearl brooch which I’ve embellished with a vintage brass stamping of a crescent moon. I have created a chain with repurposed vintage mother-of-pearl buttons and beads connected with gold-plated chain links. I think that the gentle, reflective quality of the mother-of-pearl evokes an image of moonlight dancing on water.
Mother of Pearl is said to bring the gentle healing power of the sea, to relieve stress and calm the emotions.
