The background...
This whimsical charm necklace is lots of fun! It features vintage charms including an earring in the form of a fob seal, a horse-shoe shaped pendant, a decorative flower from a hair ornament, two hearts and anchor from old warehouse stock and a new 22K gold-plated starfish charm. These charms are suspended from a lovely, repurposed vintage chain with an integrated extender so that it can be worn at various lengths.
In jewellery, the anchor symbolises hope, hearts love or compassion and the horseshoe is a symbol of good luck. Did you know that when the horseshoe is open downwards, the good luck is shared with others?
