The background...
This elegant necklace is designed to open and close at the front and features a vintage brooch fragment by Trifari which dates to the 1960s. Sadly damaged, and with one of the original faux coral embellishments missing, I’ve reworked it as the statement focal in this necklace. Repurposed vintage coral coloured seed beads, freshwater pearls and a spring ring clasp sourced from a vintage warehouse in New York complete the design.
I created a bracelet with the same coral seed beads.
